Who these terms are with

These terms are between you and Coach's Corner with Mike, run by Michael Secord ("I," "me," "my"). They apply when you use my websites, book a call, register for a workshop, buy a course or product, hire me to speak, or hire me as your coach. Please read them with my Privacy Policy.

Booking a call

A 15-minute call with me is free. It is a conversation about you or your group and whether we are a fit. Booking a call does not commit you or me to anything.

Cancellations and refunds

Coaching

Coaching starts with a signed coaching agreement. To cancel, I need 30 days' written notice. Email is fine.

Courses, workshops, and products

I want you to get results. If you buy one of my courses or products, do the work as it is laid out, and still do not get the results you were after, I will give you a refund. I will ask to see the work you completed. Reports or assessments that were already delivered to you, such as a personal DISC report, cannot be returned.

The $79 Connection Code workshop is not refundable, because you receive your personal report.

Speaking and group workshops

Speaking starts with a signed speaking agreement. Your date, fee, travel, and cancellation terms are in that agreement, and it controls.

Payments

Payments are in US dollars and are handled securely through Stripe. I do not store your full card number. If a payment fails, I will contact you before I change anything about your enrollment.

Assessments, reports, and materials

• The Connection Code is an independent workshop by Mike Secord, built on the Maxwell DISC Sales Profile. It is not endorsed by Maxwell or its partners.
• Your DISC report is yours. Please do not copy or share the assessment outside your own use, except as the report's own terms allow.
• My slides, workbooks, scripts, recordings, and other materials belong to me and are for your personal or internal use. Please do not copy, sell, share, or record them without my written permission.

What to expect

My programs are built to help you grow, and I believe in them. Your results depend on what you do with what you learn. I cannot promise a specific outcome, income, or number of sales. Coaching and training are not therapy, medical care, or legal, tax, or financial advice. Please talk to a qualified professional for those.

Using my websites

Please use my sites honestly and lawfully. Please do not try to break them, copy them, or collect information from them in bulk. My sites are provided as is. I work hard to keep them accurate and working, but I cannot promise they always will be.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, my total responsibility to you for any claim connected to my sites, workshops, or programs is limited to the amount you paid me for that service. I am not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost business.

Governing law

These terms follow Michigan law. If we cannot resolve a disagreement ourselves, it will be handled in the courts of Macomb County, Michigan. I would much rather talk first. Please come to me and we will work it out.

Changes to these terms

If I update these terms, I will post the new version here with a new effective date. A signed agreement is not changed unless we both agree in writing.
