Privacy Policy

Who this covers

This policy is for Coach's Corner with Mike, run by Michael Secord ("I," "me," "my"). It covers my websites, including mikesecord.com and join.mikesecord.com, and my emails, text messages, calls, workshops, and coaching.

What I collect

Information you give me:

• Your name, email, mobile number, and business or group name.
• What you tell me on forms, surveys, booking pages, and calls. This includes the group size, goals, and other answers on the pre-call questions.
• Your answers to the Capacity Appraisal, and the written read made from them.
• Your answers to a DISC assessment, if you take one for a workshop or coaching.
• Payment details. These go straight to Stripe. I never see or store your full card number.
• Messages you send me by email, text, or social media.

Information collected automatically:

• Your IP address, browser, device, and the pages you view.
• Cookies and similar tools that help my pages work and show me which pages people use.

How I use it

• To book calls and workshops and show up prepared.
• To send confirmations, reminders, and the things you asked for, like your DISC report or your Capacity Appraisal read.
• To deliver coaching and workshops.
• To process payments and send invoices.
• To send helpful emails and updates. You can unsubscribe in one click.
• To show my ads to the right people and see which ones work.
• To improve my pages and programs.
• To meet legal and tax requirements.

Who I share it with

I never sell your information. I share it only with the tools and people who help me run Coach's Corner, and only as needed to do their job:

• GoHighLevel, for my contact records, forms, scheduling, email, and text messages.
• Stripe, for payments.
• Zoom and Google (Google Workspace, Calendar, Drive, Meet, and YouTube), for calls, files, and video.
• The Maxwell DISC platform, which creates DISC assessments and reports. Your answers go there so your report can be made.
• Lovable and Supabase, which host the Capacity Appraisal and store your answers and your read.
• An AI service, which helps write your Capacity Appraisal read. It receives your answers so it can write it.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram), through the Meta Pixel described below.
• Advisors such as my accountant or attorney, when I need their help.

If you attend a workshop arranged by your company or group, I may share attendance and completion with the person who arranged it. I will not share your individual DISC report without your permission.

I may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect my rights or the safety of others.

Text messages

If you give me your mobile number and agree to receive texts, I may text you about your bookings, reminders, workshops, coaching, and updates from Coach's Corner with Mike.

• Agreeing to texts is not required to buy anything.
• Message frequency varies.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
• I do not share mobile numbers or text message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

The Capacity Appraisal

The Capacity Appraisal is a free tool on my site. You answer a few questions and share your name, email, and mobile number. I save your answers and your written read so you can see it and so I can follow up with you. An AI service helps write your read, and it receives your answers to do that. Your read lives at a private link that only you have. If you check the box, I may email and text you about it. I never sell this information. Email me any time and I will delete your answers and your read.

Ads and the Meta Pixel

I run ads on Facebook and Instagram. Some of my pages use the Meta Pixel, a small tool from Meta. It tells me when someone visits a page or finishes the Capacity Appraisal, so I can show my ads to the right people and see what works. Meta may collect your IP address and browser details. It does not receive your appraisal answers. You can change your ad settings in your Facebook account, or block cookies in your browser.

DISC assessments and reports

Your assessment answers and your report belong to you. I use them to teach and coach you. I will not publish your results or name you in my marketing without your written permission. If I share a story or result, I remove names and details that could identify you unless you have agreed otherwise.

Cookies and video

My pages use cookies and similar tools to work properly and to understand traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some pages play video from YouTube, using its privacy-enhanced mode. My pages do not respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

How long I keep it

I keep your information as long as I need it for the reasons above, and as long as the law requires. Contact records stay until you ask me to delete them or I no longer have a reason to keep them. Payment and tax records are kept as long as the law requires. Assessment answers and reports are kept while you are a client or participant and for a reasonable time after, so you can come back to them.

Your choices

• Ask what I have about you, and I will tell you.
• Ask me to correct it or delete it.
• Unsubscribe from emails with the link at the bottom of any email.
• Reply STOP to any text.

To do any of these, email [email protected]. I will answer as quickly as I can. If I need to keep a record for legal or tax reasons, I will tell you.

Security

I use reasonable safeguards, and I choose tools that take security seriously. No system is perfectly secure, so I cannot promise it. If a breach affects you, I will tell you as the law requires.

Where your information goes

I am based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored here. If you use my sites from another country, you understand your information will be handled in the United States.

Children

My sites and programs are for adults. They are not meant for anyone under 18, and I do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If I change this policy, I will post the new version here with a new effective date. If the change matters, I will tell you by email.
